Social, as well as spiritual, welfare is at the heart of everything we do. Our imams saw over 6,000 people last year, advising on a wide range of personal and religious matters.
With over 40 volunteers on hand during prayer times, our staff are always available to help and guide visitors and on a larger scale we work with a wide number of partners – ranging from the local Voluntary Service, to the London Citizens network, the Muslim Council of Britain, London hospices such as Richard House and Anchor House – and offer networks within the LMC that tackle marriage and family advice, women’s services, pro-bono legal support, and ex-offender support.
