Health Connex

Health Connex is the flagship event for Faith in Health. Held three times a year, the event is a fair where different services, ranging from blood pressure screening to dental hygiene, all come under one roof to showcase their service.

The public are able to talk to health professionals to talk about their concerns or learn more about what the health services can do for them. Additionally, seminars are given regarding different aspects of the health services.

Roadshows

Faith in Health works with the 45 mosques as well as the GP surgeries in Tower Hamlets. The project goes to the mosques and surgeries to speak to members of the public to hear their views of the local health authority.

Imam Training

Working in partnership with the Association of Islamic Teachers, Faith in Health runs training sessions for Imams and Islamic teachers on different health issues such as diabetes, healthy living and heart disease; issues that are prevalent in the community, allowing the Imams and teacher to serve their communities more effectively.
