SECURITY TRAINING - SCREENING SESSION

Way to Work will be running a free Security Training Course, including SIA License and additional support into employment from 8th - 11th March 2010.

If you wish to apply for a place on the course, you first need to attend our next screening session:
Tuesday 2nd March 2010 2:30pm - 5:00pm

Sessions are run on a drop-in basis so you can come along at any time however places will be allocated on a first come first served basis to candidates meeting all requirements, so you would be advised to come along as early as possible to improve your chances of being offered a place.
You will need to bring along the following:

- Passport
- Proof of National Insurance Number (NI Card, Payslip, P45, P60)
- Proof of Address (Utility Bill, Bank Statement)
- Five years fully checkable work history (including contact details) or back to the date of your leaving full time education

Please be aware that references will be requested from your past employers, and the reasons for your leaving will be verified. If we are unable to obtain employer references, we may not be able to put you forward for training so please provide as much information about your employment as possible.

For any periods of unemployment, give the address of the benefit office to which you report, and the dates of your unemployment claims. If you have been unemployed and not claiming benefits, you will need to provide details of what you were doing during that period of time.

You will be asked to disclose any criminal record that you may have, as a full CRB check will be carried out when applying for an SIA License. Having a criminal record does not necessarily mean that you will not be able to apply for a license, but it is essential that we are aware of it beforehand.

If you have any queries or require any further information please do not hesitate to contact us on 0207 650 3090 or email waytowork@londonmuslimcentre.org.uk
