The Sunday Telegraph has accepted that its article (2 Jan 2010) contained errors in relation to the East London Mosque, specifically that Anwar Al Awlaki did not deliver any talks at the ELM between 2005 and 2008, which is when the newspaper had falsely alleged that Abdullmutallab had attended such talks. The East London Mosque and London Muslim Centre made clear that they took issue with a number of other matters in this article, and after making a complaint to the newspaper, the Sunday Telegraph removed the article from its website.
