The ethos is such that it helps to foster good relationships between members of the staff, the children themselves and between members of the staff and the children. Bullying, harassment, victimization and discrimination are not tolerated. The playgroup and its staff will act fairly in relation to the children and parents and we expect the same of the children and parents in relation to the playgroup.
The Playgroup aims to welcome children from a diversity of backgrounds into a tolerant, harmonious community in which they achieve and make full use of their potential, and develop towards responsible youngsters. It is intended that the children will be academically fulfilled, sensitive to the needs of others and compassionate and responsive to the wider community, leaving as socially confident civilized human beings. Parents are encouraged to support the life of the Playgroup in general and the playgroup always aims to recruit and retain staff and provide satisfying and stimulating careers, through continuing professional development and training. It also ensures that all children are afforded equal opportunities.
