30 April 2022: The Coordination Committee of Mosques and Islamic Centres in London has announced:

Eid al Fitr 1443 is on Monday 2 May 2022

Our Eid message:

This year, we have been counting our blessings. After two years when Ramadan was greatly affected by the pandemic, we have been able to enjoy this blessed month just as we used to, with the Mosque full every night, and no restrictions imposed upon us. Allah has also blessed us with peace and security, and generous provision in this world. We should aim to carry forwards our efforts in Ramadan so that we are better Muslims, we should be mindful of all those who are less fortunate, and pray for those who are oppressed, suffering or impoverished. We must always be grateful to Allah, and show our gratitude by adhering to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.

May Allah grant us all a joyous Eid!

Tonight (Saturday) we will hold the last Tarawih prayers for this Ramadan.
