We can accept your Zakah, which we will keep in a special account, and ensure it is only used for the purposes stated in the Qur’an and Sunnah. This may be to help the needy directly, or in partnership with other UK charities who have the means to distribute Zakah properly.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

When a servant of Allah pays Zakah, the Angels of Allah pray for him in these words: ‘O Allah! Grant abundance to him who spends (in Your cause), and destroy him who does not spend and restricts to himself his wealth.’

{Bukhari}

If you are giving Zakah for one of our eligible appeals, make sure you name the appeal during the donation process.

If you are a UK taxpayer, please don't forget to choose the Gift Aid option when you make your donation. We have been advised that Gift Aid is not considered part of Zakah, so Gift Aid from Zakah will be used as general sadaqah (charity).
