The East London Mosque has a special partnership with Al Isharah , the Deaf-friendly education service, to deliver services to the Deaf Muslim community using British Sign Language (BSL).

Having establish the UK’s first live BSL interpretation of the weekly sermon on Fridays, and hosted classes for deaf children and adults in the London Muslim Centre, Al Isharah has gone on to provide a range of special services for deaf Muslims.
