Due to high demand, we are currently fully booked for all visits until September. Inquiries for visits before September will not be responded to. Visits from September 2026 onwards are now open for booking, and we encourage you to submit your inquiries for those dates. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming you after September. Welcome to the East London Mosque & London Muslim Centre! We host many guests, visitors and dignitaries every year including from schools, universities, tourists, community organisations, NHS workers, police, policy makers, and many more. The topic and duration of the visit can be tailored to the needs of visiting groups. Days and access School and college tours are normally available Monday to Wednesday from 10.30am University and Adult Tours are Monday and Tuesday afternoon. Group visits For group tours, please complete our Booking Form ahead of the proposed visit. Dates get booked very quickly, so please book well in advance to avoid disappointment. Group sizes are normally up to 30 people. Tours last on average an hour and a half, but can be adjusted if required. In School Visits If you would like a member of Staff to visit your School to present various topics in Islam as part of an assembly, please email the Visits Team with dates, times, topics and number of Students. Individual visits Individuals who visit without pre-booking should enquire with the Visits Team or Reception staff on arrival about the possibility of a guided tour dependent upon staff availability. Guidelines for all visitors Footwear needs to be removed before entering prayer halls; there are shoe racks outside the prayer halls. Please abide by our dress code: Avoid see-through/transparent and low-cut clothing. Sleeves should reach below the elbows. Skirts, dresses and shorts should reach below the knee. For women, a scarf should cover the head and chest; the Mosque can provide headscarves if needed. Food and drink are not allowed in the prayer halls. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere in our buildings. Videos and photography for personal use may be taken but must avoid capturing worshippers. All parts of the tour are wheelchair accessible. For more details about accessibility, please contact the Visits Team. No parking is available in the Mosque & Centre.
