Based in the Maryam Centre, Maryam Women’s Services (MWS) provides information, advice and guidance for women. The Maryam Centre is home to the prayer facilities for women; reception staff are instrumental in providing a safe and supportive environment for women to attend not only the prayers but the many other programmes that take place there.

We offer a professional and confidential counselling service for women of all backgrounds, provided by female therapists. 1-1 sessions with a therapist are offered after assessment. Our counselling service provides you with a safe and confidential space to talk about any difficulties or issues you may face with a professional therapist using a non-judgemental approach.

MWS assists in providing Mosque tours for schools, colleges, educational institutes and others, and has developed a programme that is educational and welcoming for new people wanting to learn about Islam and the East London Mosque.
