Tours are usually booked at least one month in advance. We will endeavour to host your tour if we have a bookable slot available. School and College Tours (under 18s) can be booked Mon to Weds during term times only, with a start time between 10am and 11am. Youth Clubs and Summer Holiday Clubs can sometimes be accommodated during school holidays. Adult Tours (Universities, Charities and Businesses etc.) can be booked between Tues to Thurs. Each tour can take no more than 30 people at a time and lasts up to 1hr 30mins. The capacity of 30 is for both health and safety, and visitor experience purposes. If your group is larger than 30 we would suggest splitting the group into smaller groups over two or three tours and submitting separate forms for each. Unfortunately these can not be run on the same day.

Photography consent We occasionally take photographs of our services to share with a wider audience. This may include anyone who visits our premises. Such photographs may be used by the East London Mosque Trust (ELMT) in newsletters, leaflets, posters, brochures, broadcast and internet media.
Terms and Conditions Dates are approved on a first come first served basis and no visit is agreed until you are in receipt of a confirmation email. Although we will try our best to accommodate according to your preferred dates, we will sometimes need to suggest alternate dates if we are fully booked. If due to unforeseen circumstances we have to re-arrange or cancel your tour, we will let you know as soon as possible. As a religious institution and place of worship, both male and female visitors are requested to observe the following dress code: Please do not wear see-through, skin-tight, revealing clothing or clothing with profanities or other controversial images or words. Dresses, skirts and shorts should be below the knee. For females - Arms should be covered, and heads will need to be covered with a scarf (these can be provided upon request). All visitors will be requested to remove their shoes when we enter the carpeted prayer hall. We allow photography of some parts of the architecture of the building but not of worshippers without their express permission. Please ask your tour guide which areas are approved before taking photos. We don’t allow video filming without a prior written request and approval. Please be aware that members of staff and volunteers do not make physical contact with guests of the opposite gender, by way of shaking hands. This will be explained as part of the tour when appropriate.
