London Iqra Institute, an indepdent education service, provides teaching for children aged 6 and above in Bengali, Arabic language and religious studies. Students gain competence in reading, writing and understanding the Arabic language. At the same time the focus is to develop pupils morally and spiritually to be good Muslims and British citizens. Children’s social skills are developed by practising Islamic speeches, arranging collections for the needy and taking part in social events and competitions.

Iqra also provides parenting skills sessions; as a result parents become aware of how to deal with their children and prevent them from anti-social activities.
