Muslims in East London deeply upset by offensive images

3 Feb 2006 – The recent publication of cartoon caricatures of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) has incensed Muslims in East London. We strongly condemn this vilification of the prophet of Islam. It is deeply offensive to Muslims throughout the world, for whom the prophet is dearer than any other human being.
