Following last year's success, we are delighted to announce the return of the popular Ride 4 Your Mosque for 2017. This initiative encourages the community to take up cycling for a healthier lifestyle, as well as support our fundraising to help the Mosque become debt free.

Get on your bike, get fit – and raise funds to help the East London Mosque become debt free, following the building of the Maryam Centre and the recent purchase of the Synagogue building.

Join us for a fun, challenging day cycling about 30 miles from the East London Mosque to Box Hill, Surrey. We’ll have experienced cyclists on the route all the way to help make the ride as safe as possible. There will be plenty of water and refreshment stops along the route. This ride is suitable for beginners as well as experience riders.

When: Saturday 29th April 2017

Time: 10am to 5pm

Location: East London Mosque to Box Hill, Surrey

What’s the registration fee and how can I reach my target?

The registration fee is £30 per person and your target is to raise at least £300. The Mosque will help you with support to reach this target. Ask your friends and family to sponsor you, or perhaps you could approach local businesses. We also advise you set up a JustGiving page of your own through the mosque’s page at and click on ‘Fundraise for us’. This is hassle free, and all the donations will come directly to the Mosque. Remember you can promote your page on social media like Facebook and Twitter.

What is the deadline?

The closing deadline for registering is on Friday 21st April 2017.

What is the prize?
