Male circumcision service

The Sunnah Circumcision Service, run by the independent London Surgical Centre (LSC), provides a male circumcision circumcision service from its dedicated facilities in the Maryam Centre.

The LSC is regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and services are assessed to check that they are safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led.

Circumcisions are performed using modern techniques in a safe environment, in accordance with Islamic traditions.

The LSC is run by Mr Mohammad Hossain Howlader, an experienced NHS consultant surgeon with an honorary lecturership at UCL.
