Celebrating Outstanding GCSE Results at London East Academy in 2024 22 Aug 2024 Our students at the London East Academy have once again demonstrated excellence in their GCSE results, reflecting five years of hard work, dedication, and collaboration across our school community. This year, an impressive 83% of our pupils achieved a grade 4 or above in five GCSEs, with 77% achieving this milestone including English and Maths. Notably, 47% of our students secured a grade 5 or above in five or more subjects, including these key areas. To put this in context, the national average for students achieving a grade of 4 or above in five GCSEs is 67.4%. This comparison highlights the outstanding performance of our students, who have surpassed the national average by a significant margin. The Chair of Governors, Hussain Shefaar, extends his heartfelt congratulations to both students and staff, acknowledging the collective effort that made this achievement possible. He remarks, "This is the result of five years of hard work, supported academically, emotionally, and practically by our dedicated staff. May Allah bless this result for greater things to come, for this life and the next." These results underscore our commitment to educating, inspiring, and empowering our students. We are immensely proud of their achievements and the role our staff and parents have played in supporting them. We look forward to continuing this journey of excellence. Manage Cookie Preferences
