News & Islam News Muslim Charity Run 2016 Coming together for good causes We are delighted to announce the return of the popular 5km community fun run for 2016; the Muslim Charity Run. Join us for this fun run and help raise funds for good causes across the globe. The run itself is for men and boys of all ages, and of any faith or none; however, all are welcome at the park on the day. Run for charity, run for fitness, run for fun! Perfect for a day out with family and friends, charity runs are great opportunities to get active, keep fit and enjoy the day in the great surroundings – all for a good cause. The East London Mosque has organised highly successful fun runs in Tower Hamlets in each of the last four years, helping to improve health and to raise funds. The run opened other Muslim charities. The objectives are: to promote healthier lifestyles to help other Muslim charities raise funds for good causes Islam places great emphasis on the blessings of one’s health and on taking measures to maintain and enhance it. Now people can take part, improve their health, and choose one of UK registered Muslim charities to support. Approved Muslim Charities Each approved charity will be guaranteed places for the run; a minimum registration fee will go towards the cost of running the event. Charities will have greater engagement with their stakeholders through this fun event, raising funds alongside others in a spirit of cooperation. About the Run This is set to be one the biggest Muslim charity runs, building on the four years of success. Hundreds of runners are expected from all age groups, from children to senior citizens. The run will take place in Tower Hamlets’ Victoria Park, recognised for its heritage, sports facilities, walkways and lake, on Sunday 8th May 2016. Prefer to register offline?
