News & Islam News Qur’an Revision Day 2026 at ELM 7 February 2026 Alhamdulillah, we were blessed to host another inspiring Qur’an Revision Day 2026 at the East London Mosque. This year’s gathering was truly special. Over 150 students revised the Qur’an with the support of more than 90 teachers, completing 40+ khatms in a single day – Allahu Akbar! In total, more than 40,000 pages of the Qur’an were recited from memory in one focused and uplifting environment. Qur’an Revision Day in Numbers 160 students 93 teachers 43 khatms completed 34 students revising 15 juz’ 33 students revising 10 juz’ 50 students revising 5 juz’ A Day Dedicated to the Qur’an Qur’an Revision Day brings together huffaz and students of the Qur’an to revise from memory in a focused, supportive setting. Guided by qualified teachers, students are able to strengthen accuracy, build confidence, and reinforce long-term retention. The day also plays an important role in preparing huffaz for Tarawih, offering an opportunity to revise large portions in one sitting ahead of Ramadan. Above all, the atmosphere helps deepen love for the Qur’an and attachment to the words of Allah. This event is part of the wider Qur’an Revision Project, a global initiative supporting huffaz and those on the journey of memorisation to preserve the Qur’an in their hearts.
